Northrop Grumman is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future within the Global Supply Chain SAP environment. This position supports the Northrop Grumman Global Supply Chain Solutions Services function within the SAP S4 and associated environments. This includes all Northrop Grumman locations utilizing SAP functionality. The selected candidate will be a functional member of the Level 2 System team directly interacting with system users and GSC Leadership. This team manages daily operational access, training, support of computer systems and business requirements at the enterprise level.
This position has a lead role in analysis, training, and stabilization as the ERP solution is enhanced for the corporation, as well as with prioritization and testing of functionality enhancements. The position coordinates with corporate and sector teams, ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls. This position supports the Level 2 ERP help desk for monitoring and responding to end user SAP questions. This position will also include sector representation for enterprise projects such as SmartBuy, Procurement Navigator, and S/4.
Primary responsibilities:
  • Gather, analyze and document user requirements, procedures, and/or problems to improve existing systems
  • Collaborate with business partners to develop solutions and correct system deficiencies
  • Test solutions to ensure optimal system functionality
  • Monitor integrated system interfaces for errors and address as necessary
  • Draft & publish instructional materials and provide system training
  • Directly support resolution of all software related problems with the purchasing à transportation interfaces
  • Support suppliers with the OASIS portal and all associated vendor applications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Requirements for a Band 2 Level 2: Master's degree preferred in Business Management, Information Technology, Global Supply Chain OR Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience OR Associate's degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience OR High School Diploma and a minimum of 6 years of experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain trusted relationships with internal and external customers
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, with all levels of management and individual contributors
  • Willing and able to travel on short notice
  • Willing and able to occasionally work outside of normal business hours (including weekends and shutdown) when necessary
  • Proficiency in SAP S4 with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in the following basic areas: Supply Chain, Operations, Visibility

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Computer Science or Technical Degree
  • Knowledge of the Costpoint ERP solution
  • Demonstrated success in developing cross functional teams
  • Understanding of hardware and software requirements, design, development and testing of system integrations
  • PMP, APICS, CPSM or CSCP certification

Knowledge, Skills and Ability:
  • General, frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques. Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks.
  • Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of increasing scope and complexity as assigned
  • Discretion/Latitude - Work is reviewed for soundness of technical judgment, overall adequacy and accuracy. Works under general supervision.
  • Impact - Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects. Failure to achieve results or inadequate work product should be detected by supervisory oversight but may cause delays in program schedules and allocation of additional resources
  • Liaison - Primarily internal company contacts. Infrequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts on routine matters.

Primary Level Salary Range: $78,500.00 - $113,800.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
