As a Remote Community Health Counselor, you will work in a supportive virtual environment that promotes collaboration among therapists and healthcare professionals. • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and evaluations to understand clients’ needs and collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapy services, including individual, group, and family therapy, using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care.
• Collaborate closely with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to client care.
• Respond to crisis situations effectively, providing immediate support and intervention for clients in acute distress.
• Engage in outreach initiatives to elevate mental health awareness within the community, including workshops and educational sessions.

Clients may present with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders. • A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
• A master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is essential.
• Demonstrated exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of strong therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills are required to ensure timely and accurate documentation and follow-ups.
• Ability to navigate client records and case management software effectively, promoting efficient workflow and documentation.

• Experience working in community mental health settings or similar environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with various evidence-based therapies and the ability to adapt approaches to fit individual client needs.
• Experience in crisis intervention and management techniques.
• Knowledge of community resources and tools to refer clients for additional support services.

• The position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000–80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and professional credentials.
