This role is fully remote, providing you with the convenience of working from your own space while connecting with clients through telehealth platforms. • Patient Accessibility: Ensure timely communication with patients and their families by returning all calls and emails within two hours during business hours and within 24 hours at all other times.
• Coordination of Care: Collaborate with the Utilization Review and Business Departments regarding authorization processes, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.
• Discharge Planning: Initiate planning on the day of admission, conducting thorough discharge sessions and ensuring that patients understand their coping strategies and supportive resources before discharge.
• Crisis Management: Skillfully manage crises during sessions and provide support to staff in handling patient interactions, always maintaining high clinical quality.
• Documentation: Complete all clinical documentation promptly during treatment sessions to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
• Therapeutic Rapport: Establish and nurture a therapeutic rapport with patients and their families by conducting assessments, including evaluations of suicidality and potential risks.
• Admission Process: Facilitate the admissions process for new patients with professionalism and a welcoming attitude, actively engaging in clinical outreach and program presentations.
• Team Collaboration: Participate in weekly treatment team meetings to discuss continued patient progress and clinical goals, contributing insights and expertise where necessary.
• Insurance Utilization Reviews: Provide necessary clinical data to insurance providers, advocating for both initial and ongoing treatment authorizations.

You will work with a diverse array of patients from varied backgrounds, including children, adolescents, and adults experiencing conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Your role is vital in fostering improvement in their mental health by engaging them in therapeutic practices, empowering them with tools, and guiding them towards recovery.

• A valid and independent mental health license in the state of Oregon (LCSW, LMFT, LPC).
• A Master’s degree or doctorate in clinical psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a large caseload effectively while collaborating with various healthcare providers and support staff.
• Proficient in utilizing electronic medical records and engaging in professional email communications.
• A strong commitment to improving behavioral health services and advocating for clients.

• Previous experience in a community health setting or similar environment is preferred.
• Experience conducting utilization reviews and effectively engaging with insurance companies.
• Proven skills in crisis intervention and support in a clinical setting.
