Are you an experienced Commercial Lines insurance professional who enjoys building strong client relationships and managing complex accounts? Join our team as a Commercial Lines Account Manager, where you'll independently manage an established book of business while partnering with Producers to deliver exceptional service and customized insurance solutions.
We're looking for someone with recent Commercial Lines P&C experience in an independent agency, brokerage, MGA, carrier, or other multi-carrier insurance environment. You should have strong coverage knowledge and be comfortable managing renewals, marketing accounts, reviewing coverage, communicating with clients and underwriters, and resolving day-to-day service needs.
A minimum of three years of recent Commercial Lines P&C experience is preferred. We also encourage candidates with at least two years of strong commercial insurance experience who are ready to take the next step into independent account management.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage an assigned book of Commercial Lines accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
  • Partner with Producers on renewal strategy, marketing, account retention, and account rounding.
  • Prepare marketing submissions, review carrier quotations, and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
  • Coordinate renewals, endorsements, certificates, audits, and other account servicing activities.
  • Serve as the primary service contact for assigned clients, carriers, and internal team members.
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation in Applied Epic.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and strengthening client relationships.
  • Stay current on carrier appetite, coverage changes, and industry trends.
  • Mentor and support less experienced team members as needed.

Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of recent Commercial Lines account management experience in an independent insurance agency.
  • Property & Casualty Insurance License Required.
  • Applied Epic experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Commercial Lines coverages, applications, renewals, marketing, endorsements, certificates, audits, and policy review.
  • Experience working in an independent agency, brokerage, MGA, or other multi-carrier insurance environment.
  • Strong computer and technical skills, including agency management software experience. Applied/EPIC preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and related software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salary Description
$65,000-$85,000
