Job Description
Under limited supervision, this job is responsible for identifying and monitoring subrogation inputs and collections. This role identifies new subrogation opportunities, refers opportunities to the subrogation unit, implements procedures, and monitors subrogation reimbursements to other insurers. The individual provides work guidance and direction to less senior employees and provides mentoring and coaching to the team. This individual delivers compassionate service that is fast, fair and easy to ensure customer retention. The individual works independently, prioritizing the individual's own responsibilities, and managing the individual's own workload. The individual also consistently meets band level behaviors, production, quality, and/or customer service goals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manages, researches and resolves complex and occasionally highly complex customer communications, concerns, conflicts or issues
  • Makes and maintains a connection with the customer by understanding and meeting their needs; serves the customer with empathy; and follows up to ensure that customer needs have been met
  • Works with Subrogation Adjusters and Litigation Attorneys to recover funds on complex Property Losses to include product liability cases
  • Identifies subrogation opportunities and refers claims to Subrogation unit in markets where complex subrogation litigation is prevalent
  • Documents a claim file with notes, evaluations and decision making process
  • Summarizes documents and enters into claim system notes
  • Advises management on coaching and training opportunities
  • Assesses unit needs for training and development on subrogation issues and processes

Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of Homeowner's Property claim handling, settling, adjusting/evaluating experience required
  • Homeowners Property claim subrogation experience, a plus

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is 56,000.00 - 92,000.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
