Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR), charge capture software, and billing management systems is typically required. Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and effective communication are crucial soft skills in this role. These competencies ensure accurate and timely charge entry, minimize billing errors, and maximize revenue integrity for healthcare organizations.
