This role is entirely remote, offering you the flexibility to manage your schedule while contributing to our outpatient counseling services from the comfort of your home. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' emotional and mental health, ensuring to capture their unique strengths and challenges.
• Develop tailored treatment plans based on initial evaluations, collaborating closely with clients to ensure their input is respected and incorporated.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions focused on a range of mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma.
• Lead couples therapy sessions aimed at improving communication and conflict resolution skills to strengthen partnerships.
• Regularly monitor client progress by reviewing and updating treatment plans in response to ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely client records, adhering to confidentiality laws and ethical standards.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration, working in conjunction with other healthcare professionals to achieve holistic treatment outcomes for clients.
• Provide crisis intervention services when necessary, demonstrating preparedness to handle emergencies and acute distress.
• Stay current on developments within marriage and family therapy, implementing the latest research findings and techniques to enhance client care.
• Advocate for clients’ needs and rights, empowering them to take charge of their treatment journey and wellness goals.
• Encourage personal growth and self-care practices among clients, while also prioritizing your own well-being to prevent burnout.

You will work with a varied client base, including children, teens, adults, and couples, each with unique situations and mental health needs. Our Counseling Center emphasizes diversity and inclusion, ensuring that we respect and understand the cultural backgrounds and life experiences of our clients. The goal is not only to address immediate therapy needs but also to foster long-term emotional resilience and healthy coping mechanisms.

• Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related discipline.
• Active LMFT licensure issued by the State Board of Georgia is required.
• Demonstrated experience providing therapy services to individuals and couples, with a strong emphasis on client-centered approaches.
• Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in documenting case histories, treatment plans, and progress notes in an electronic health record system.

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a therapeutic role.
• Experience working with diverse populations, including children and families, is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with virtual therapy tools and techniques to adapt to remote counseling practices effectively.

We offer a competitive salary range between USD 90,000 and 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition, our benefits package includes:
