What are Remote Bench Sales Recruiters?

Remote Bench Sales Recruiters are professionals who work from a remote location to market and place candidates, often referred to as 'bench candidates,' who are already employed by their company but are seeking new project assignments. They act as intermediaries between candidates and clients, identifying job opportunities, submitting suitable resumes, and negotiating rates. Their main goal is to ensure continuous employment for bench candidates by matching them with client requirements, primarily in IT consulting and staffing industries.

How does a Remote Bench Sales Recruiter typically collaborate with on-site teams and candidates to ensure successful placements?

As a Remote Bench Sales Recruiter, you’ll work closely with both on-site sales and recruitment teams through regular virtual meetings, email updates, and collaborative platforms. Navigating time zone differences and maintaining clear, proactive communication are common challenges, but strong remote collaboration skills help ensure timely and successful placements.

  • Screen and interview candidates, evaluating both technical qualifications and critical soft skills.
  • Assess candidates for consultative selling ability, relationship-building, communication, and executive presence.
  • Provide market insights and candidate recommendations to hiring managers.
  • Deliver an outstanding candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Manage multiple requisitions while maintaining strong organization and communication.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a strong focus on sales recruiting.
  • Experience recruiting Account Executives, Business Development professionals, or other customer-facing sales roles.
  • Proven ability to source passive talent and build strong candidate pipelines.
  • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple searches in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and LinkedIn Recruiter.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting within SaaS, PropTech, FinTech, or other consultative sales environments.
  • Experience hiring candidates who manage relationship-driven or solution-based sales cycles.
  • Agency and/or corporate recruiting experience.

Why You'll Enjoy This Opportunity

  • Join a collaborative Talent Acquisition team supporting a growing business.
  • Recruit for impactful customer-facing roles that directly contribute to company growth.
  • Work closely with experienced hiring leaders and influence hiring decisions.
  • Fully remote contract opportunity.
  • Immediate opportunity to make an impact.

If you're passionate about identifying top sales talent and enjoy partnering with hiring managers to deliver exceptional hiring outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.
