Position: ProAV Solutions Architect
Location: REMOTE
Duration: 12 months contract
Description:
TheProAV Solutions Architect is a technical presales expert who gathers AV technical requirements, creates and validates Bills of Materials (BOMs), and supports Statements of Work (SOWs) for ProAV, Digital Signage, Pro Audio, and Collaborationadjacent solutions. The contractor will collaborate with sales, engineering partners, and delivery resources to ensure the proposed AV solution is technically sound, feasible, marginaligned, and matches longterm customer goals.
Responsibilities:
  1. Technical Discovery & Assessment
  • Conduct ProAV assessments including needs validation, system architecture evaluation, optimization checks, and advisory.
  • Gather technical requirements and translate them into solution components aligned to outcomes.
  1. Solution Design & BOM Development
  • Create and validate detailed Bills of Materials (BOM).
  • Provide design oversight and recommendations.
  • Ensure longterm alignment with customer goals.
  1. SOW & Deliverables Support
  • Lead technical review and validation of SOW content.
  • Partner with integrators for scoping and technical alignment.
  1. CustomerFacing Technical Engagement
  • Deliver demos, technical briefings, and solution walkthroughs.
  • Review BOM/SOW with customers.
  1. Partner & CrossTeam Collaboration
  • Maintain relationships with AV manufacturers and partners.
  • Work with internal sales teams and integrators.
  1. Process Alignment & Compliance
  • Respond to assignments within SLA.
  • Log required activities in Salesforce and other platforms.

Required Skills:
  • Deep expertise in Audio Visual, Digital Signage, Pro Audio, Collaboration systems.
  • Ability to translate customer needs into BOMs and SOW inputs.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with AV ecosystems.
Required Experience:
  • Handson AV architecture or engineering experience.
  • Experience collaborating with integrators and delivery partners.
  • Ability to produce technical documentation
  • Knowledge of AV standards and manufacturer practices.
  • Experience using Salesforce

Requested Certifications:
  • AVIXA CTS, CTSI, CTSD
  • Relevant manufacturer certifications.
