At Solid Light, we create immersive environments for museums, cultural institutions, and brands. We are looking for a Relationship Development Manager who thrives on building trust, developing long-term partnerships, and guiding clients through thoughtful, consultative conversations. This is not a transactional sales role. It is an opportunity to connect people, ideas, and creative solutions that leave lasting impact.


Youll work closely with leadership, creative teams, and prospective clients to identify opportunities, strengthen partnerships, and help grow Solid Lights presence across new and existing markets.


What Youll Do

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact throughout the client lifecycle
  • Develop referral networks through industry engagement and professional presence
  • Learn client goals, challenges, and priorities to align thoughtful solutions
  • Guide clients through a consultative, relationship-focused sales process
  • Represent Solid Light at conferences, industry events, and client meetings
  • Conduct market research and support pipeline forecasting and planning
  • Collaborate internally to ensure client expectations are communicated and achieved
  • Maintain accurate documentation of opportunities and client interactions
  • Support RFQs, proposals, and RFP responses including research, schedules, and pricing coordination
  • Contribute ideas and feedback that help shape strategy and improve services


What Were Looking For

  • 13 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or client services
  • Experience in consultative or relationship-based sales environments
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and long sales cycles effectively
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, HubSpot, Adobe Creative Suite, and related business tools
  • Interest or experience in design, construction, experiential, or creative industries is a plus
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred
