At Mission Bay RV Resort, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional guest experiences in a dynamic, hospitality-driven environment. We are looking for a Reservations & Registration Supervisor to help lead our front-line team and ensure smooth daily operations of our reservations office. Position Overview

The Reservations & Registration Supervisor plays a key role in both hands-on operations and team leadership. This individual will perform the duties of a Reservations/Registration Agent while also overseeing the department in the absence of the Manager.

You will ensure exceptional service delivery, support team performance, and maintain efficient reservation processes and systems. 


Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Operations
  • Oversee daily operations of the Reservations/Registration department
  • Support scheduling and ensure appropriate staffing coverage
  • Monitor team performance, attendance, and adherence to procedures
  • Provide coaching, training support, and performance feedback (in partnership with the Manager)
Guest Experience
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and complaints
  • Resolve issues in real time whenever possible; escalate complex matters as needed
  • Deliver friendly, courteous, and service-oriented interactions at all times 
Reservations & Revenue Support
  • Process reservations accurately and efficiently
  • Respond to reservation emails in a timely manner
  • Promote additional services and amenities (rentals, merchandise, fees)
  • Ensure all guest accounts and folios are balanced and complete
Cash Handling & Administrative Responsibilities
  • Follow proper cash handling, banking, and reconciliation procedures
  • Assist in resolving discrepancies and reporting over/shorts
  • Maintain organized reservation records, including extended stay and group bookings 
Operational Excellence
  • Ensure systems (Newbook, Elevate, etc.) are functioning properly and report issues
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked office environment
  • Enforce company policies, procedures, and resort rules
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve operational needs

 Qualifications
  • Previous experience in hospitality, reservations, or front desk operations (supervisory experience preferred)
  • Working knowledge of reservation systems (Newbook or similar) and phone systems (Elevate or similar)
  • Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities
  • Solid cash-handling and basic math skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft 365 proficiency
  • Professional, dependable, and team-oriented approach

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating workloads
  • Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and computer use
  • Ability to accurately type while engaging with guests
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
