Registration Representative | Baylor Surgicare at Oakmont:

The Registration Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, physicians, and visitors while ensuring accurate patient registration, insurance verification, and collection of patient financial responsibilities. This position will also provide support to various business office functions as needed. Responsibilities may include patient admissions, scheduling, accounts payable, patient communications, chart preparation, and payment posting. The ideal candidate will possess strong multitasking, communication, and teamwork skills, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A demonstrated history of providing exceptional customer service is preferred. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

  • Two or more years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.

  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

  • Knowledge of medical insurance, patient registration, and collections processes.

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

  • Strong customer service background preferred
