Job description

Job Description:

ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP and Quality Medical Management Services USA, LLC is seeking a self-motivated, people-friendly full time Refund Specialist for our Corporate office location.

Hourly: $20 - $21/hr

Essential responsibilities Include but are not limited to the following:

  • Prepares patient refunds received by Tasks from BOS team, Payment Posting team, Management and Front End forward to Department Director for approval
  • Processes refunds through Refund Manager
  • Process all patient credit card refunds through Phreesia
  • Works patient credit reports received by Department Manager monthly for investigation and resolution
  • Maintaining and updating the refund spreadsheet for other department review
  • Forward patient refund checks for all signatures from the EEO, CFO, or COO. (2 signatures for checks over $2500)
  • Mailing out all approved and signed refund checks, double check that every check is signed
  • Scan and file mailed refunds in ICS
  • Process credit card terminal payments
  • Check the AR fax server for credit card payments and post accordingly, give any wit $0 payments to assistant manager
  • Covering areas where a refund specialist may be absent including Insurance Refunds (cross training)
  • Suggest improvement in processes when applicable
  • Must be very detail oriented and able to multi-task

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a medical industry is preferred
  • Knowledge of phressia is a plus
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
