POSITION: Assistant Front of House Manager

DEPARTMENT: Front of House

THE ROLE

Manage, schedule, and coordinate all Front of House Supervisors and Staff members. Advance production and logistics with clients and internal departments regarding tour or venue activations. Oversee event day operations of the Front of House department. Navigate various databases to facilitate payroll and ticketing. Uphold and execute venue policy and standards of service as an acting role model for all Front of House team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage scheduling and payroll for all Front of House team members, ensuring adequate coverage for events and adjusting as necessary based on attendance and event requirements.
  • Control labor costs and manage financial reporting of all department overhead and working capital, including the use of third-party staffing support.
  • Oversee Front of House operations during events, ensuring guests are seated efficiently, VIP activations occur on time, & aiding/addressing any customer concerns before, during, & after the event.
  • Ensure ushers enforce safety procedures, including crowd control, emergency exits, and venue specific rules, to maintain a secure environment for all attendees.
  • Collaborate and report to Front of House Manager regarding venue improvements, staff training, event emergencies, etc.

Supervisory Responsibilities(if the specific role needs it)

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends & ASM policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High School degree or equivalent is required
  • Two years prior experience in a customer service position preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, managing competing demands, frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events
