CHNS Training and Staffing Services is seeking an experienced and highly organized HR Manager / HR Operations Manager to oversee and support the daily operations of the Human Resources Department. This role is responsible for managing recruitment, onboarding, compliance, employee relations, and HR workflow efficiency within a fast-paced healthcare staffing environment.

Position Summary

The HR Manager / HR Operations Manager will lead HR processes, ensure compliance with employment laws and healthcare staffing regulations, and support the development and implementation of HR strategies that promote efficiency, retention, and employee engagement.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle management

Manage and support HR staff, including HR Assistants and Recruiters

Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and healthcare staffing regulations

Lead full-cycle recruitment including job posting, screening, interviewing, and hiring decisions

Oversee onboarding, orientation, and training programs for new hires

Maintain and audit employee records and HR documentation for accuracy and compliance

Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary processes

Monitor HR metrics and provide reports to leadership on staffing and workforce trends

Coordinate performance management processes and employee evaluations

Support benefits administration and HR-related inquiries

Improve HR systems, workflows, and operational efficiency

Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive employee information

Support organizational development and employee engagement initiatives

Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

Qualifications:

High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred

1-2 years of HR experience required, preferably in healthcare staffing or healthcare environments

Previous supervisory or HR leadership experience preferred

Strong knowledge of HR laws, compliance, and best practices

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Experience with recruitment, onboarding, and HR operations management

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems/ATS platforms

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
