Job description

Program Manager

Fairborn, OH

Our client is dedicated to providing the highest quality of services to our clients and employees. We are proud to be the primary partner to top companies in the automotive, aerospace, and defense industries. As a result of our continued growth, we are looking for energetic and personable professionals to join our team.

Position Summary:

We're looking for a Program Manager to lead delivery across multiple concurrent Air Force sustainment programs, including KC-135 and 448th Supply Chain Management Wing (448 SCMW) requirements, at the same time. This role owns contract execution, cost and schedule performance, and the relationship with government stakeholders across both programs, and needs someone who can keep two demanding customers moving in parallel without either one slipping.

Responsibilities

  • Manage program execution across KC-135 and 448 SCMW requirements simultaneously, keeping both on cost and on schedule.
  • Own contract execution and compliance, including Performance Work Statement (PWS) and CDRL deliverables.
  • Track and report program cost and schedule performance using Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for Air Force program office stakeholders, building trusted working relationships.
  • Prepare and deliver program status reporting and executive-level briefings to leadership and government customers.
  • Coordinate cross-functional engineering, logistics, and supply chain teams to keep deliverables on track across both programs.
  • Identify program risks early and drive mitigation plans before they affect cost or schedule.
  • Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and applicable government contracting requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical, engineering, or business field.
  • Experience managing Air Force or DoD sustainment, logistics, or supply chain programs.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent programs or contracts without losing ground on either.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM), budgeting, and program financial tracking.
  • Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS and government contract administration.
  • Strong track record presenting to and managing relationships with government or executive stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • PMP certification a plus. Experience with KC-135 or a comparable DoD aircraft platform a plus.
