Job description

The Program Manager serves as a leader for Aerospace new product development programs, responsible for ensuring products meet customer, regulatory (AS9100), and internal Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) aligned requirements throughout the lifecycle-from concept through launch and sustainment. You will manage program scope, cost, schedule, risks, and cross-functional execution to deliver highquality aerospace components and systems.
In addition, this role supports new business opportunities by developing businesscase financial evaluation models (including recurring and nonrecurring costs and strategy) and contributes to growth initiatives across Urban Air Mobility (UAM) and Defense, enabling new products and manufacturing strategies across multiple manufacturing sites.

General Responsibilities
Oversees all aspects of assigned programs throughout project lifecycles to ensure completion within the defined scope, quality, time and cost constraints
Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational/operational objectives
Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance
May oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached
Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved
Resolve projects' higher scope issues
Work closely with cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiative
Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives
Identify, analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders
Experience / Qualifications
A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

Program Execution & APQP Alignment

  • Apply APQP principles, including requirements flowdown, DFMEA/PFMEA readiness, control plans, PPAP/FAI planning, and riskbased launch readiness aligned with aerospace standards.

  • Manage production readiness, including tooling/capital planning, material availability, and crossfunctional readiness for launch.

  • Facilitate crossfunctional phasegate reviews using NPD/NPI systems.

Customer & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary customer point of contact during new product development, resolving issues and aligning deliverables.

  • Apply structured change management, resource planning, and cost/schedule impact analysis throughout the lifecycle.

Business Growth & Strategy Integration

  • Support new business opportunities by creating businesscase financial evaluation models, including recurring and nonrecurring costs and strategic recommendations.

  • Drive growth initiatives in Urban Air Mobility (UAM) and Defense by supporting new product introductions and manufacturing strategies across multiple production sites.

Process, Tools & Quality Systems

  • Develop and optimize business processes, procedures, work instructions, and templates related to new product development and Program Management activities.

  • Ensure alignment with aerospace regulatory flowdowns, customer expectations, and ITAR requirements.

This position requires eligibility to obtain authorization under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Non-US Persons, as defined in the ITAR and EAR, may not be eligible to obtain authorization.

Base Salary Range:

$109,130.00 - $150,040.00
