Job description

IAT Insurance Group has an immediate need for a Principal Recruiter that can be located in our Rolling Meadows, IL or Raleigh, NC IAT office locations. As we continue to grow, this role will serve as a strategic talent acquisition partner, proactively recruiting toptier talent across the P&C Insurance industry.

The Principal Recruiter will lead complex and highimpact searches, utilizing advanced sourcing strategies to identify and engage hardtofind and passive candidates across multiple platforms. This role requires deep market knowledge, strong consultative skills, and the ability to influence hiring outcomes through datadriven insights and talent intelligence.

You'll partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to deliver top-tier talent for critical roles. This role works a hybrid schedule Monday through Wednesday, with the option of working Thursday and Friday remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for a variety of niche roles.
  • Proactively source and screen candidates for strategic level positions through various sourcing tools and techniques to identify active and passive job candidates.
  • Identify, engage, and connect with top talent through traditional and creative sourcing techniques.
  • Deliver a diverse and qualified candidate pool to help fill short-term and long-term hiring needs by proactively and continually sourcing, developing, and maintaining a viable pipeline and network of qualified talent.
  • Partner with appropriate business unit leader or hiring manager during initial strategic recruiting meeting to establish clear understanding of position requirements, ideal candidates, competitors, and sourcing methods that will be used to build candidate pool.
  • Clearly communicate company culture and responsibilities to candidates.
  • Research, analyze, prepare and present hiring statistics to management.
  • Continuously champion our inclusive hiring practices and help drive our diversity sourcing initiatives.
  • Maintain documentation on prospects, searches, and most recent communication with prospective candidates.
  • Manage and coordinate communication with prospects as needed.
  • Attend Early Career and Professional Network events as needed.
  • Facilitate internal training sessions for employees or leaders as needed.
  • Perform other duties or projects as needed.

Qualifications:

Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of full cycle recruiting, sourcing, or equivalent work experience.
  • Equivalent work experience would include 14 years of full cycle recruiting or sourcing experience.
  • Demonstratable ability to build quality diverse candidate pipelines across multiple technical areas to help shorten time to fill roles
  • Advanced knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter and other search functions is required including using Boolean search and social media to source candidates (Experience using SeekOut or similar search function is greatly preferred).
  • Demonstratable ability leverage various sourcing methods (social media, phone, events, etc.)
  • Demonstratable ability to provide a strong sense of urgency and customer services to the process.
  • Demonstratable ability to build strong relationships with candidates.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require, now or in the future, VISA sponsorship for employee purposes.

Preferred to Have:

  • Experience sourcing for different types of roles, from entry to executive level.
  • Experience recruiting within the insurance industry.
  • Experience working in an agency setting.

Compensation:

Please note, that the annual gross salary range associated with this posting is $82,000 - $168,000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base salary for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and geographical location related to this specific role. The total compensation will include a base salary, performance-based bonus opportunities, 401(K) match, profit-sharing opportunities, and more.
