MV Transportation is seeking a fast-paced High Volume Recruiterwho works to recruit candidates for the day-to-day operations of a paratransit facility in Baltimore, MD. You will manage the entire hiring lifecycle for large-scale staffing needs, ensuring a smooth, high-quality candidate experience from application to onboarding. In this role, you will be the face of our company, responsible for ongoing operator recruiting, discovering, attracting, and hiring top talent to support our growing organizational needs. You will partner closely with hiring managers to define staffing requirements, create robust candidate pipelines, and ensure an exceptional candidate experience. 

The successful candidate is highly organized and motivated; they are technologically adept and must possess proficiency in following and refining processes and procedures to yield efficiency in the recruiting process. 

Customer service skills are critical; the Recruiter serves as the first line of communication with employee candidates and must represent the company in delivering a welcoming, people-first approach. 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Manage recruitment processes for numerous open requisitions simultaneously
  • Review and analyze resumes against minimum qualifications 
  • Interview high volumes of candidates daily using innovative channels and resume databases
  • Utilize an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to track applicants, update statuses, and build talent pools for future openings
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and adjust sourcing strategies as needed. 
  • Coordinate with qualifications team to communicate the status of the candidate’s in the recruiting and hiring process 
  • Facilitate offer negotiations, background checks, and onboarding processes
  • Track and report on key recruitment metrics like Time-to-Fill and Cost-per-Hire to identify areas for process improvemenIntroduce new hires to the company and walk them through theon-boarding process 
  • Serve as an employee advocate for new hires 
  • Confirm completion of all new-hire paperwork who meet the expectation of the job

Talent Requirements:

  • Two (2) + years’ experience in recruiting, working as a recruiter, or five (5) + years’ experience supporting the recruiting function 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Demonstrable experience in medical industry recruiting and sales recruiting
  • Solid understanding of DOT compliance requirements. 
  • Extensive knowledge of applicant tracking software programs 
  • Familiarity with online job-hunting websites 
  • Working knowledge of the transportation industry preferred 
  • AA, BA or BS degree preferred 

Starting salary range: $60,000 - $65,000
