Job Title: Manufacturing Recruiter
Job Description
This role supports a mid-size manufacturing organization by leading full-cycle recruiting and HR coordination for a wide range of production and professional positions. The Manufacturing Recruiter manages high-volume hiring, partners closely with hiring managers, and ensures a smooth, compliant, and positive experience for candidates and new employees. This is a 6-month temp-to-hire position, working 100% onsite in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
  • Post job openings on various job boards and internal company platforms to attract qualified candidates.
  • Use LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools to proactively identify and engage potential candidates.
  • Develop and suggest innovative strategies to improve candidate sourcing and talent pipelines.
  • Review and screen resumes and applications for specific job openings, ensuring alignment with role requirements.
  • Conduct initial screening interviews to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and fit.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers, ensuring clear communication and timely follow-up.
  • Facilitate communication between candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Order bg checks and conduct reference verifications for potential candidates in accordance with company policies.
  • Prepare new hire paperwork and orientation materials to support a structured onboarding process.
  • Coordinate and facilitate new employee orientations to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Collect and verify new hire documentation, including I-9 forms and tax forms, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Organize and maintain onboarding materials in both hard copy and electronic formats.
  • Identify, propose, and implement improvements to onboarding procedures to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in electronic systems, ensuring data integrity.
  • Process employee information changes, including promotions, transfers, and terminations, in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with record-keeping requirements and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and respond to benefits-related questions and inquiries.
  • Update benefits records and assist with the distribution of benefits materials to employees.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure employees receive accurate and timely benefits information.
  • Support the consistent application of HR policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Stay informed about relevant labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements and assist in applying them to HR practices.
  • Accurately input employee data into the applicant tracking system (ATS), including Ultipro/UKG.
  • Assist in generating HR and recruiting reports and perform basic data analysis to support decision-making.
  • Participate in job fairs and other recruiting events to promote open positions and build candidate pipelines.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and fill 30-40 different skill sets, including recurring production roles.
  • Support high-volume recruiting efforts, including repetitive production hiring in classes of approximately 10 new hires per week.

Essential Skills
  • High school diploma, general education degree, or vocational degree.
  • Previous full-cycle recruiting experience, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers.
  • Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, sourcing, and screening candidates.
  • Proficiency using job boards and online recruiting platforms.
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS), including Ultipro/UKG or similar tools such as Greenhouse.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Professional, motivated, and energetic demeanor when interacting with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Comfort working in a manufacturing setting that can be loud and requires resilience and a thick skin.

  • Experience in construction or manufacturing recruiting is a strong plus.
  • Experience participating in or coordinating job fairs and recruiting events.
  • Familiarity with full-cycle recruiting in high-volume or production environments.

Work Environment
This role is 100% onsite in a manufacturing setting that can be loud at times and requires comfort working in an industrial environment. The schedule follows a standard day shift, typically from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Free parking is available on site. The recruiter works closely with hiring managers and gains extensive experience filling 30-40 different skill sets, including recurring production roles in classes of approximately 10 new hires per week. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $38.00/hr.
