Job Summary

Seeking a Mechanical V&V Engineer to support product verification activities for medical devices. The ideal candidate will develop and execute verification protocols, perform test method validations, and analyze results to ensure compliance with design and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute verification test plans, protocols, and reports.
  • Perform system-level verification testing and analyze results.
  • Lead Test Method Validation (TMV) activities, including Gage R&R and bias studies.
  • Design and develop test fixtures and mechanical assemblies using SolidWorks.
  • Validate tools and equipment in accordance with QMS requirements.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues while maintaining good documentation practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in medical device verification and validation (V&V) is required.
  • Strong understanding of design controls and product development processes.
  • Hands-on experience with test equipment such as force gauges, calipers, Instron, and vibration tables.
  • Proficiency in technical writing and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with ISO 14971, IEC 60601-1, and IEC 62304 is preferred.

Preferred: Experience with test fixture design and validation activities in a regulated medical device environment.
