Summary: 

  • Manages full life cycle recruiting activities including sourcing, talent assessment, process management, offer extension, and offer closure.

  • Develops and executes recruiting plans with hiring leaders to exceed direct source hiring goals.

  • Leads innovative sourcing plans including cold calling, social media campaigns, and targeting organizations while practicing effective engagement.

  • Directs recruiting programs at universities, alumni groups, and events representing the organization, which may include public and online presentations.

  • Assesses applicants against ideal candidate profile and recommends short list of qualified candidates to hiring leaders.

  • Leads talent assessment and selection process with hiring leaders and interviewers ensuring a legally defensible selection process.

  • Manages weekly recruiting meetings with active hiring leaders to ensure alignment on recruiting activities.

  • Directs consistent communication with candidates throughout process to ensure engagement and alignment and negotiates offer terms.

  • Manages workload and talent in Greenhouse, LinkedIn, Indeed, and other tools and maintains accurate weekly req reports.

  • Mentors hiring managers on recruiting best practices including OFCCP, EEOC, talent assessment methods, and selling the candidate.

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with minimum of 8 years, preferably 10+ years of experience as a Recruiter or similar role.

  • Recognized expert in talent acquisition with high degree of knowledge in Human Resources overall.

  • Advanced capabilities to mentor, persuade, and influence colleagues and clients ranging from hiring managers to executives regarding talent acquisition.

  • Experience managing special projects including formulating talent acquisition strategies and administering policies, processes, and resources.

  • Ability to independently solve complex problems in environments with limited standardization and high degree of ambiguity.

  • Highly resourceful at crafting and executing recruiting initiatives to attract and hire top talent.

  • Advanced ability to comprehend nuances and responsibilities of each job and job family and effectively assess candidate viability.

  • Fully proficient with Internet software, HRIS, ATS, and Microsoft Suite including experience with Greenhouse.

  • Ability and willingness to travel as required and work outside of core business hours as required.
