Job Description

The Recruiter II plays a key role in attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent across multiple operational functions. This role recruits, interviews, checks references, makes offers, and conducts orientation for new employees, while also supporting exit interviews and employee status changes. The Recruiter II relies on extensive recruiting experience and judgment to plan and accomplish hiring goals, and may lead and direct the work of others on a centralized sourcing team. The position supports hiring for roles such as area managers, site managers, inventory, loss prevention, and workplace health and safety, and requires a high degree of creativity, autonomy, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Source and attract qualified candidates for a variety of operational roles, including area managers, site managers, inventory, loss prevention, and workplace health and safety positions.
  • Conduct full-cycle recruiting activities, including screening, interviewing, and evaluating candidates to ensure strong alignment with role requirements.
  • Use advanced sourcing techniques, including Boolean search methods, to identify and engage passive and active candidates across multiple channels.
  • Manage and maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) records to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant documentation throughout the recruitment process.
  • Check professional references and verify candidate information to support sound hiring decisions.
  • Prepare, extend, and negotiate employment offers in alignment with organizational guidelines and hiring needs.
  • Conduct orientation sessions for new employees to support a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Perform exit interviews and process changes in employee status to support accurate HR records and continuous improvement in workforce practices.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring teams to understand staffing needs, develop effective recruiting strategies, and prioritize requisitions.
  • Leverage industry knowledge and best practices in recruiting, sourcing, and talent acquisition to meet hiring goals and timelines.
  • Plan and accomplish recruiting objectives by relying on extensive experience, judgment, and a strong understanding of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.

Pay and Benefits
