Job description

We are looking for a Recruiter to support high-volume hiring efforts for skilled trade and field-based talent in Washington. This contract position will focus on identifying candidates with relevant experience, guiding them through early-stage screening, and helping maintain a steady pipeline to meet ongoing workforce needs. The role works closely with local hiring partners to coordinate interviews, track recruiting activity, and deliver a positive candidate experience throughout the process.


Responsibilities:

• Drive outbound recruiting efforts to connect with skilled candidates and generate interest in open field positions.

• Source talent through applicant tracking systems, internal candidate pools, job boards, and other recruiting channels.

• Evaluate applicants through initial phone screening to confirm experience, availability, and fit for current opportunities.

• Keep candidate records current and organized within recruiting systems to support accurate tracking and follow-up.

• Coordinate interview scheduling with local hiring teams and monitor progress through each stage of the process.

• Maintain consistent daily recruiting activity to support hiring targets and respond to changing market demand.

• Partner with project and field stakeholders through regular communication and hiring-related meetings.

• Represent the organization effectively in every candidate interaction and help create a positive recruitment experience.

• Experience in recruiting, staffing, customer-facing sales, service environments, or other high-volume outreach roles is preferred.
• Confidence making outbound calls and working toward activity goals or performance metrics.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone and in writing.
