At Gills Point S, we're more than a tire and automotive service company-we're a family-owned organization built on integrity, teamwork, and exceptional customer service. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Transaction & Reconciliation Specialist who thrives on accuracy, accountability, and supporting operational success.


In this role, you'll serve as a key partner to our service center teams, helping ensure financial transactions are accurate, documented properly, and reflected correctly within our systems. You'll have the opportunity to work across multiple locations, collaborate with leaders throughout the organization, and play an important role in maintaining the financial health of the business.


What You'll Do

  • Maintain and reconcile Point of Sale (POS) transactions and financial records for assigned locations
  • Review and validate vendor invoices, receipts, and supporting documentation
  • Ensure accurate posting of financial transactions into NetSuite
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies, variances, and bookkeeping issues
  • Partner with Service Center Managers to improve financial accuracy and compliance
  • Support month-end closing activities and financial reporting processes
  • Monitor transaction integrity and identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Serve as a resource and coach to managers on financial procedures and documentation requirements

Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, or financial administration experience
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable, reconciliations, and financial record management
  • Experience working with accounting software and ERP systems
  •  Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze information, identify discrepancies, and solve problems independently
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships across departments
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
