Key responsibilities for this role include:
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) of the site MES recipe/workflow process.
  • Create and maintain MES master data.
  • Collaborate with operations, Quality, Engineering, and other departments to support and maintain MES interface with other automated functions (i.e. SAP, LIMS, Historian, etc).
  • Responsible for initiating, revising, and validating MES functions for operations. Initiates/supports all validation documents required for operations.
  • Provide support for MES system functions relating to EBR recipes, workflows, and master data.
  • Develop and/or revise MES related procedures to comply with current GMP’s and quality compliance.
  • Support audits and periodic reviews of the system relating to EBR recipes, workflows, and master data per current Viatris policies.
  • Provide and support MES end user training. Assure training is in compliance with all applicable procedures and regulations.
Minimum qualifications for this role are:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 2-4 years of relevant experience. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to read and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to complete documentation associated with their position. Possess initiative and establish good interpersonal relationships. Able to make decisions in line with policies and values of the company.
  • Computer literacy and technical abilities in writing and functional testing is required, including but not limited to the following:
  • Attention to details and interpretation of instructions that appear in electronic records, manufacturing orders, procedures, qualification, and/or validation protocols.
  • Ability to do arithmetic computations associated with the requirements of the position.

Exact compensation may vary based on items such as skills, experience and location. The salary range for this position is: $55,000 - $105,000.
