Job description


In person! Located in SLC, Utah
Develop and create detailed recipes on an ongoing basis (test and create approximately 5-6 new recipes per month).
Ability to write clear and concise recipe titles, subtitles, and descriptions
Evaluate current recipes with the goal to always improve. Make updates based on recipe
tests and consumer reviews. Maintain records/detailed notes (i.e. precise quantity of ingredients) so recipes can
successfully be reproduced in large volumes while maintaining quality.
Coordinate with marketing in the ongoing eort to expand the menu and create new and
exciting cookie flavors.
Ability to receive recipe concepts and ideas and turn them into perfected recipes complete with fully written ingredients, instructions, and notes.
Along with the recipe you will include photos of the cooking steps and final product to clearly communicate the recipe to our team.
Knowledge of the shelf lives of various food items & ingredients.
Stay in the know with food trends, both locally & more widespread.
Have an innate love of food and baking.
Requirements:
3-5 years experience baking
A deep knowledge of ingredients and baking techniques Proven research and proofreading skills
Knows how to write and read recipes (writes clear instructions and lists ingredients in order used, etc.)
Is detail oriented and takes studious notes while cooking
A self-starter and truly proactive problem solver who works relentlessly to execute all steps
needed until the problem is resolved
Has the ability to take basic photos of each step and final product to communicate the recipe to our team
Enjoys cooking and baking and getting creative in the kitchen
Is easy to communicate with and responds well and quickly to feedback
Can work ahead of schedule - we work months ahead on content and need someone who
manages their own time well and is able to hit deadlines
Superbly organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects and timelines at once
