Elliott, Robinson, and Company, a locally owned and multi-award-winning Certified Public Accounting (CPA) firm, is pleased to announce a full-time position for an Accounting Specialist in our Branson, MO office. 

ERCPA offers compensation packages supporting our staff’s overall well-being and multi-generational workforce. Primary Function

The Accounting Specialist is a professional with top priorities being to deliver exceptional and consistent customer service while responsible for managing the multi-functions of the front desk, assisting clients with the utmost confidentiality, and supporting the staff. Accounting functions include preparation of payroll and payroll taxes, sales and use taxes, monthly accounting and financial statements. *Accounting experience required.


Work Schedule & Location
Full-time hours include:

  • Regular business hours: Monday - Friday
  • Hours will fluctuate during tax season requiring flexibility
  • Location is in-person daily at our Branson, MO location


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Job duties will include but not limited to:

  • Manage general office duties including answering multi-line phone system and ordering supplies
  • Responsible for opening and closing the office
  • Accounts receivable & payable plus a variety of administrative tasks
  • Processing payroll & preparing payroll tax forms
  • Scheduling appointments during tax season
  • Present brief overviews of tax returns with clients when they pick-up their prepared packets
  • Assemble all tax returns, amended and business returns in the off season

Required Skills

  • Professional, personable and friendly interaction skills
  • Experience managing daily large call volumes
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Able to prioritize, organize, solve problems and meet deadlines
  • Strong ability to work independently, multi-task and follow through with projects
  • Ability to work in high pressure, fast-paced environment
  • General knowledge of tax returns is helpful
  • Proficiency and extensive experience with QuickBooks® and Microsoft Office programs such as Microsoft Excel® are essential

Preferred Qualifications and experience include:

  • High School Diploma, required
  • Associate degree from accredited college, preferred
