Enabling our industry-leading businesses requires many teams working collaboratively, such as Corporate Security & Responsibility, Corporate Communications, Human Resources, Procurement, Strategic Business Transformation and Real Estate. You'll be part of guiding strategic vision and hands-on delivery of the business to drive our business forward and support groups and team members across the entire organization.

At Bell, your insights and experience will make an impact in bringing the best digital connections and next generation services to Canadians. Join us as we transform from a traditional telecommunications company to tech services and digital media leader.

Summary

As Bell transitions into a leading tech company, the Building Operations Center (BOC) plays a pivotal role in maintaining the reliability of our infrastructure.

As the Senior Manager, Building Operations Center (CP3), you will provide strategic and operational leadership. Your primary mission will be to ensure the resilience and service continuity of our technology supporting buildings. You will lead monitoring operations, intervention optimization, and operational risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactive Monitoring and Alarm Management: Lead teams responsible for 24/7 monitoring of critical alarms related to building infrastructure (fire, power, temperature, security, HVAC) and telecommunications environments.
  • Smart Intervention Management (Dispatch): Oversee the strategic triage and management of dispatches to field teams (Field Services, Ops, building technicians, and external vendors).
  • Operational Optimization: Implement strategies to significantly reduce unnecessary physical interventions (optimizing "truck rolls") through data analysis, remote diagnostics, and automation.
  • Business Continuity and Risk Management: Ensure uninterrupted service for critical infrastructure. Manage business continuity analysis and mitigate operational risks related to equipment or system failures.
  • Critical Incident Management: Act as a leader during major incidents. Oversee critical communications, apply Abnormal Threatening Condition (ATC) protocols, and liaise with senior management and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Systems and Architecture Management (BMS/BAS): Oversee access, configuration, and integration of building management systems. Drive the transition and rationalization of BOC technological platforms (e.g., decommissioning legacy systems, integrating new monitoring solutions).
  • Leadership and Team Management: Mentor, develop, and mobilize a team of operations professionals. Manage internal communications, labor relations, and HR administrative aspects for your group.
  • Financial and Project Strategy: Contribute to strategic planning, business case development (CAPEX/OPEX), and the execution of major infrastructure projects for the Real Estate group.
