Middle School Reading Teacher
Tolland Public Schools is seeking a dynamic, student-centered Reading Teacher to join our middle school team. The successful candidate will provide targeted reading instruction and intervention to support students in developing the literacy skills necessary for academic success.
The ideal candidate will:
  • Possesses a strong understanding of foundational reading skills and demonstrated experience implementing structured literacy.
  • Demonstrate expertise in reading instruction and literacy development.
  • Use data-driven practices to assess student needs and monitor progress.
  • Collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports student growth and achievement.

Qualifications:
  • Connecticut certification with the 102 or 097 Endorsement.
