Job Description:

Must be reliable and enjoy working with children (K-12) in a classroom setting. Responsibilities:

Grading student classwork homework
Organizing your students' files with work in date order
Observing students and administering worksheets according to the Kumon Method
Read aloud with Reading students and count with Math students
Communicate with Parents and other staff
Work in a friendly, team environment to help make the class a success
Other tasks as needed
Class hours are:

Monday 3:00-6:00 pm
Thursday 3:00-6:00 pm
Requirements:

Strong Math and Reading skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with adults and children
Prompt and reliable
Participation in training sessions
Detail-oriented, energetic, and proactive
Commitment to making a difference in the community and believing that all children have the potential to achieve academic excellence
Prior Kumon experience preferred
