Job description

The RCM Orthodontics Manager serves as a subject matter expert in orthodontic revenue cycle operation, including proficiency in Cloud9, and plays a critical role in supporting system conversions. The manager will design, develop, and deliver training materials to support office teams to ensure successful adoption of standardized processes.

In addition, this position will support the development and expansion of a centralized orthodontic RCM team to include defining structure, workflows, and best practices to support DCAโ€™s centralized support model.

This position focuses on improving cash collection success, and reducing revenue leakage by implementing best practices, standardizing processes and supporting office teams through centralized support, training, performance management, and process improvement.


ยท Serve as a Cloud9 RCM subject matter expert.

ยท Lead and support RCM efforts during conversions to Cloud9, including pre and post conversion training.

ยท Develop and maintain training materials for both operational team and centralized support team.

ยท Establish a centralized RCM support team, including workflow design and management.

ยท Monitor orthodontic revenue cycle performance across supported practices, with a focus on cash collections and AR management.

ยท Develop, standardize, and deploy best practices for orthodontic financial workflows, including case setup, contract management, and collections.

ยท Ensure offices understand and follow best practices to minimize denials, delays, and rework.

ยท Partner with Operations, to align orthodontic workflows with organizational goals.

ยท Partner with analytics and leadership to develop reporting that drives actionable insights.


Bachelorโ€™s degree or equivalent experience in healthcare, business, or revenue cycle management.

ยท 5+ years of experience in orthodontic operations or revenue cycle operations.

ยท 2+ years of leadership or people management experience.

ยท Experience with Cloud 9 required.

ยท Strong understanding of orthodontics, orthodontic billing, and cash collections.

ยท Proven ability to lead change, implement new tools, and drive adoption across teams.
