We are a true farm-to-table company with an integrated portfolio including food processing and food brands, phosphate mining, fertilizer manufacturing, farming, ranching and cattle production, and other enterprises related to agriculture.Summary Assists Ranch Manager and Staff Veterinarian in the care and treatment of range cattle and/or cow-calf operations by performing the following duties.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Rides on horsebackin order toidentifysick, injured, or stressed animals; gathers cattle on range and pasture;calvescows; supplements feed during winter; repairs pasture and range fences.

Assists in treating sick or injured cattle by following an established medical treatment plan provided by the Staff Veterinarian and/or Ranch Manager/Foreman. Assists with processing and shipping cattle by sorting, branding, vaccinating, worming, and tagging. Moves cattle from pasture to pasture as directed by the Ranch Manager/Foreman.

Provides care to horses by shoeing, doctoring, feeding, and grooming as necessary. Performs other duties as assigned by the Ranch Manager/Foreman.Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilityrequired.
