Quality Improvement Monitor
Position Summary
South County Mental Health Center, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Quality Improvement Monitor to support agency-wide compliance, accreditation, and quality improvement initiatives. This role is responsible for monitoring program compliance, supporting Joint Commission readiness activities, tracking outcome measures, coordinating staff trainings, and ensuring adherence to internal and external regulatory standards across departments.

South County Mental Health Center, Inc. is a private, non-profit, Joint Commission-accredited behavioral healthcare provider serving Southeast Palm Beach County. We are dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality mental health services to individuals and families in our community.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Human Services or related field
  • Knowledge of quality management principles and compliance standards
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to manage reports and data
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Human Services or related field
  • Experience with quality improvement, compliance, or accreditation processes
  • Knowledge of Joint Commission standards and behavioral healthcare regulations
  • Experience coordinating staff trainings or quality monitoring activities

Duties and Responsibilities
Compliance Monitoring & Quality Oversight
  • Conduct compliance monitoring activities across departments and programs
  • Monitor initiatives including MyStrength, Zero Suicide, ROSC Principles, Peer Reviews, Recovery Capital Index, and Program Outcomes
  • Review chart compliance and monthly reports for accuracy and completeness
  • Identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement and communicate findings to leadership
Joint Commission & Accreditation Support
  • Monitor Joint Commission standards and accreditation requirements
  • Support agency readiness and compliance efforts related to accreditation activities
  • Assist with preparation and follow-up for audits and surveys
Performance Improvement Activitiesย ย ย ย ย ย ย 
  • Attend Quality Improvement meetings and participate in agency-wide improvement initiatives
  • Prepare and submit outcome measures to funding sources
  • Support ongoing data collection and quality reporting activities
Training Coordination
  • Coordinate required staff trainings and web-based in-service programs
  • Develop and maintain annual and monthly training calendars
  • Track training participation and compliance requirements
Additional Duties
  • Attend meetings and trainings as required
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
