About the role
The Continuous Improvement Intern will support operations and processimprovement initiatives by helping organize, update, and maintain StandardOperating Procedures and related documentation within the Acadia system. Thisrole will work closely with operators, supervisors, and cross functional teamsto ensure procedures accurately reflect current operating practices. The internwill also gain hands on exposure to manufacturing operations and develop abroader understanding of key production processes.
Responsibilities
The duties of the Continuous Improvement Intern include but are notlimited to:
Import SOP's and other documents into the Acadia system
Work with operators to ensure current SOP's are accurate and up to date.
Develop and upload new documents into the Acadia system as needed
Develop an overall understanding of the operations Processes.
About you
Qualifications include:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, OperationsManagement, Supply Chain, Industrial Technology, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and ability to organize information clearly
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working with operators, supervisors, and cross functional teams
• Ability to learn new systems and follow document control procedures
• Self-motivated, dependable, and willing to ask questions
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, andOutlook
• Interest in manufacturing operations, continuous improvement, processdocumentation, or quality systems
