Are you passionate about recreation, student engagement, and athletic operations? The College of Western Idaho (CWI) is seeking an Athletics Operations Coordinator to oversee intramural and recreation programming while supporting the daytoday operations of the Athletics Department.

In this role, you'll coordinate events, manage facilities and equipment, supervise student employees, and help create engaging recreational and athletic experiences that enhance campus life and student success.

• Coordinate the daytoday operation of intramural sports, recreation programs, leagues, tournaments, and special events
• Assist with the development and implementation of new recreation activities and engagement opportunities
• Promote recreation and intramural programs through campus outreach, student engagement initiatives, marketing, and social media
• Monitor program participation and gather feedback to support continuous improvement

• Support the implementation and operation of the College's intercollegiate athletics program
• Coordinate event logistics, participant services, facility preparation, and operational support
• Attend events at various locations
• Collaborate with campus departments, student organizations, officials, and community partners to ensure successful events
• Assist the Director of Athletics with departmental initiatives, special projects, and event management

• Coordinate facility scheduling and equipment setup to support recreation and athletic programming
• Manage equipment inventory, purchasing requests, maintenance, and distribution
• Maintain participation records, operational reports, program statistics, and related documentation
• Ensure recreation and athletic activities comply with established college policies, procedures, and safety standards

• Recruit, train, schedule, and provide daytoday supervision for student employees and volunteers
• Foster a positive and serviceoriented environment focused on professionalism and student engagement
• Support student leadership development through mentorship and operational responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with Athletics staff and campus partners to enhance the student experience
• Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend operational improvements
• Contribute to a culture of teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Evening and weekend work is required based on programming and event schedules
• Position requires active participation in recreation, athletics, and event environments

• Associate's degree in Sports Management, Recreation, Education, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Two (2) years of experience coordinating collegiate recreation, athletics, events, or related programs
• Must possess a valid driver's license, maintain an acceptable driving record, and have reliable personal transportation available for business-related travel
• Graduate assistantship or internship experience may be considered
• Experience supervising or coordinating student employees, volunteers, or program participants
• Knowledge of recreation programming, athletic event operations, or related activities
• Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and problemsolving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software applications
