What does a quality control coordinator do?

A quality control coordinator oversees the inspection and testing of products or services to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. They develop procedures, document findings, and collaborate with production teams to address quality issues, often using tools like checklists and quality management systems. Strong attention to detail and knowledge of industry regulations are essential for this role.

To thrive as a Quality Control Coordinator, you need a solid understanding of quality assurance processes, standards compliance, and a relevant degree or certification in quality management or a related field. Familiarity with statistical analysis software, quality management systems (QMS) like ISO 9001, and proficiency in inspection tools are typically required.
