Job description

Columbia Vehicle Group (CVG) designs and manufactures industry-leading electric vehicles serving commercial, industrial, and retail markets worldwide. We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Associate to help ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

The Quality Control Associate is responsible for inspecting materials, components, and finished vehicles throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with company quality standards, engineering specifications, and customer requirements. This position works closely with Production, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to identify quality concerns, support corrective actions, and promote continuous improvement.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform inprocess and final inspections of vehicles, components, and assemblies.
  • Verify products meet engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and quality standards.
  • Identify, document, and communicate quality defects to supervisors and production teams.
  • Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records.
  • Use measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
  • Work with Engineering and Manufacturing to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects and improving product quality.
  • Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of quality control principles and manufacturing processes.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
