Job Overview:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Control Associate to join our Quality Control team at our leading diamond jewelry company. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and ensuring the quality of our jewelry products, identifying defects, and ensuring all items meet company standards, customer requirements and consumer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Inspection: Conduct thorough visual inspections of jewelry products, ensuring proper dimensions and the integrity of clasps, soldering, center stone settings, prong alignment, and rhodium plating. Inspect for any loose stones and ensure their secure placement.
  • Defect Identification: Detect manufacturing defects and areas for improvement throughout the production process. Collaborate with the production team to resolve issues promptly and ensure quality standards are upheld.
  • Quality Documentation: Maintain accurate records of quality control processes, inspection results, and any issues identified. Provide detailed reports on findings and corrective actions taken.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all products consistently meet company quality standards and consumer expectations. Perform final checks on completed pieces to guarantee they are free of defects and ready for delivery to customers.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in quality control or a related field, in wholesale jewelry.
  • Quality experience working with diamonds
