Job Description:
What You'll Be Doing:
Manage the Mason, Roofing, and Equipment & Material Mechanics units within the Operations and Maintenance Department. Supervise staff involved in maintenance, remodeling, and new construction projects. Administer work budgets, approve expenditures necessary to complete job assignments, and provide recommendations for wage/salary, supply/expense, and capital equipment budgets. Consult with faculty and staff regarding project needs, maintenance and repair needs, and scheduling.

What We Are Looking For:
Education and Experience
Qualified Candidates Will Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Building Construction, Supervision, Management or a related technical area
  • 3+ years demonstrated record of administrative supervisory experience, preferably in a technical, commercial or industrial area
  • An equivalent combination of education and required work experience will be considered

Skills Needed:
  • Experience in workflow planning, employee coaching and motivation, budget and financial planning, diversity awareness and analytical evaluation skills
  • Applicable experience relative to the position in facilities maintenance or one of the following areas: Masonry, Roofing, Heavy equipment operations
