Job description

) Medical Facilities of America, a regional leader in healthcare and skilled nursing services, is seeking a qualified individual to join our growing team as a Purchasing Associate in our Lakewood, NJ office. As a member of our Purchasing team, you'll be responsible for facilitating the procurement process to ensure the seamless supply of essential medical supplies, equipment, and services for our partner facilities.

What you'll do
  • Collaborate with partner facilities to monitor and maintain inventory levels of medical supplies and equipment to ensure adequate stock availability while minimizing excess inventory and associated costs.
  • Source and purchase medical supplies, equipment, and services, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to meet operational needs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors and monitor performance to ensure timely delivery and competitive pricing.
  • Analyze supply chain data, including inventory levels, purchasing trends, and vendor performance metrics, to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and risk mitigation.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, purchase orders, and vendor contracts in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
