Job description

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology to join our team as a Psychometrist in Houston, Texas. The Psychometrist will provide essential support to Clinical Psychologists by administering and scoring neuropsychological and psychological assessments. This role involves working closely with patients and their families to track improvements and ensure patient goals are met through careful management and follow-up. The Psychometrist will handle standardized test administration, score assessments accurately, document behavioral observations, and assist in report writing under supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and score neuropsychological and psychological tests and questionnaires
  • Document behavioral observations during testing sessions
  • Enter test results accurately into the patient database
  • Assist Clinical Psychologists with report writing and interpretation of test data
  • Provide tools and support for patient management and follow-up
  • Communicate with patients and families regarding care concerns and goals
  • Establish timelines, tasks, and goals for patient progress tracking

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in neuropsychological testing
  • Familiarity with assessments such as WAIS, WISC, NEPSY, DKEFS, RBANS, WCST, MMPI, PAI
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with psychological assessment and report writing
