HealthPRO Pediatrics is looking to add a Pediatric Psychometrist to our team in Newport News, VA!

Setting: Pediatric Outpatient & ABA Clinic

Schedule: Part-Time, on-site, flexible scheduling! 

Pay: $26-$30/hour!

  • Administer and score psychological, cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments to support clinical treatment decisions.
  • Monitor and manage patient behavior during testing to ensure a valid and supportive evaluation environment.
  • Document assessment results and provide clear summaries of patient behavior and observations.
  • Consult with Psychologists regarding unusual patient needs or testing accommodations.
  • Ensure accuracy, security, and timely availability of all testing materials and documentation.
  • Provide feedback and debrief patients regarding test results as directed.
  • Maintain a professional environment, follow ethical and regulatory guidelines, and support daily clinic operations.

  • Bachelor's degree or completed coursework in an area of applied psychology or related field preferred

  • Minimum of (1) year of exposure to psychological assessment activities preferred

  • Certified Specialists in Psychometry (CSP) preferred

  • Excellent observation and communication skills
  • Strong critical-thinking and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience working with children and teens as well as individuals diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder and/or neurodevelopmental disorders
