Job description

Renown Health, is the largest not-for-profit Integrated Health System with the University of Nevada Reno, School of Medicine, and seeking a General Neurologist.  

The ideal candidate will evaluate and treat patients with general neurological disorders, including headache/migraines, and will collaborate with other Neurology subspecialists on their team to provide comprehensive care.  

Physician will foster the teaching of residents and medical students from The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine.  Working with an established Research Department provides support to coordinate clinical trials or take the opportunity to conduct research on the university campus.

Renown Regional houses The Institute of Neurosciences and is a Joint Commission accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center and NAEC Level III accredited Epilepsy Center

Position Details

  • Traditional outpatient schedule; 4/10 schedule option available
  • Collaborative Multi-disciplinary Neurology team: MS, Movement, Epilepsy, Neuro Oncology, Neuromuscular, Neuro Psychiatry
  • Lab technician team and 24/7 Acute Neurology support
  • General Neurologists will evaluate and treat headache patients, including providing office based procedures
  • Participate in Renown Neurocognitive Rehabilitation and Brain Health Program
  • Direct access to Renown Neurology’s PhD Neuropsychologist and Psychometrist
