The Proposal Development Specialist defines and delivers strategic solutions that will result in the successful promotion of the DNOW brand, products, and services.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and identify key initiatives for driving greater value within global strategic accounts, to assist with strategic initiatives, and to grow market share by continuously producing both proactive and reactive customer proposals, including responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
  • Direct the implementation of key initiatives and capture knowledge of best practices and successes
  • Drive creative solutions using marketing, communications, and sales as strategic tools
  • Create customer-specific proactive proposals and responses to RFIs and RFPs
  • Develop and distribute appropriate proposal-related documentation, including legal terms & conditions, market baskets, schedules & deadlines, bid requirements, and kick-off presentations.
  • Responsible for creating strategic growth initiatives and account retention projects
  • Create compelling value propositions with current and future customers/accounts
  • Assist with new business implementations and case-study development
  • Deliver material to assist in the development of new business
  • Assist members from Sales, Operations, and Leadership Team on key projects and programs
  • Manage best practices
  • Other duties, as assigned.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or Business, or equivalent years of experience
  • Solid communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to effectively organize time and prioritize deliverables and deadlines
  • Detail-oriented, team-oriented, and conscientious
  • Ability to work independently
  • Solid computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Great attitude, entrepreneurial mindset, and strong desire to learn
  • Previous experience in and familiarity with the oil and gas industry is preferred
