We seek a proactive Proposal Specialist to join our growing Inside Sales Team. You will support our Proposal Manager in crafting compelling proposals for contractors, engineers, and owners. This role suits a goal-oriented, organized team player with exceptional communication, time management, and interpersonal skills. They thrive in a collaborative environment focused on consistent processes and superior client service.
Essential Functions
  • Coordinate and create proposals showcasing Structural Group family of company's unique value in infrastructure repair and upgrade projects.
  • Participate across all phases of proposal development for SOQs, RFQs, RFPs, and client deliverables.
  • Organize, attend, and support strategy calls with stakeholders organization-wide.
  • Facilitate cross-discipline coordination with operations, engineering, SMEs, A/E consultants, and teaming partners.
  • Develop outlines, compliance matrices, schedules; assign responsibilities; and manage reviews to meet deadlines.
  • Support narrative creation, editing, and proofreading to address RFP requirements and client needs.
  • Aid upstream content development for major pursuits alongside active deadlines.
  • Utilize and modify MSWord and InDesign templates for proposals, case studies, and resumes.
  • Design compelling infographics and integrate strategic visuals.
  • Manage archiving of proposal elements, resumes, project data, boilerplates, graphics, and templates.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or Marketing.
  • 3+ years in A/E/C proposal development (preferred).
  • Federal proposal experience (preferred).
  • Self-driven with independent work ethic alongside business development and operations teams.
  • Eager to learn and incorporate feedback.
  • Advanced MS Office Suite proficiency.
  • Intermediate Adobe Creative Suite skills.
  • Experience with AI tools for proposal development (preferred).
  • Salesforce or CRM experience.
  • Open Asset or Unanet experience (preferred).
