Job description

Your Responsibilities as a Marketing Proposal Assistant:

  • Assistย theย Marketingย teamย in theย proposalย process,ย including info gathering, resume creation,ย documentย layout,ย proposalย submission, and interview presentations.ย 
  • Monitor websites for new project opportunities.ย ย 
  • Supportย specialย eventsย and trade shows.ย 
  • Developย layout and graphic designย skills in Adobe software (emphasis on InDesign) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).ย 
  • Performย tasks to ensure the quality of Marketing materials, such as proofreading, aesthetics, and compliance reviews.ย ย 
  • Make updatesย inย the relationship management (CRM) system.ย 
  • Travel between Apex officesย and toย client locations to deliver proposalsย as needed.ย 
  • Fulfill other administrative tasks as needed.ย 

What we're looking for:

  • Degree, certification, or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, business, English, journalism, or a related field.ย 
  • 0-3+ years of professional experience.
  • Foundational writing and editing abilities. Graphic design skillsย a plus.ย 
  • Ability to learn Adobe InDesign.ย 
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint.ย 
  • Availability for occasional event support during nonbusiness hours,ย such asย community events.ย 
  • Solid organizational, multitasking, and prioritizing skills with strong attention to detail.ย 
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.ย 
  • Ability to work in-personย at theย Fort Myers office. A hybridย workย arrangement may beย possibleย pending training and positive performance.ย 
  • Ability to travel between offices for related tasks on occasion.ย 
  • Valid driver's license, safe drivingย historyย and reliable transportation.ย
