What does a proposal development coordinator do?

A Proposal Development Coordinator is responsible for organizing and managing the creation of proposals, typically in response to requests for proposals (RFPs) from clients or funding agencies. They coordinate between various departments, gather necessary information, and ensure that proposals are accurate, compliant, and submitted on time. Their role often includes editing, formatting, and reviewing documents, as well as tracking deadlines and managing proposal-related communications. Excellent attention to detail, collaboration, and time management are standout soft skills in this role. These abilities are crucial for producing high-quality, compliant proposals on tight deadlines, directly impacting an organization’s ability to win new business.
