The Mission of the Role


Vistrue is looking for a Business Analyst to be a key member of the Product Team and perform a critical role in agile software development. Working closely with the customer and the development team, the Business Analyst will ensure we are providing our customers with a high-quality product.


Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain the Product Backlog
  • Act as a liaison between the business and the customer (internal or external) to understand and define product requirements to meet the customer’s need.
  • Prioritize and sequence the Product Backlog according to business value as defined by customer needs, market needs and sales feedback
  • Write user stories (requirements) with defined acceptance criteria
  • Work on grooming and designing of user stories
  • Release Management – Assist with defining the content for each product release and development sprint
  • Participate in the daily stand ups, Planning Meetings, development meetings (Reviews and Retrospectives)
  • Continuously answer questions to add detail to requirements and drive development progress
  • Sign off and accept user stories delivered by the development team
  • Be the “voice of the customer”
  • Create release collateral (internal and external facing)
  • Identify ways to improve internal product knowledge and readiness

Experience

  • 5+ years of BA experience working with customers and development teams
  • 3+ years of Telecom or Supply Chain experience preferred.
  • Experience with the agile software development framework a plus
  • Experience with flowcharting and wire-framing programs
  • Understand uni and bi-directional APIs and how they work
  • 1-2 yrs experience working with SOAP/XML and Restful Services/JSON
  • 1-2 yrs experience working with POSTMAN
  • Navigate through a web and mobile user interface
  • 3-5 years of experience with Microsoft azure dev ops and Microsoft Office products
