Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Regional Property Manager to lead our property management operations across multiple locations. This energetic role requires a proactive leader who excels in overseeing property portfolios, ensuring compliance with housing regulations, and delivering exceptional customer service. As the driving force behind property performance, you will coordinate leasing, maintenance, and administrative functions to maximize occupancy rates and tenant satisfaction. Operational Management

  • Oversee daily operations of multiple properties, ensuring all aspects of property management are executed efficiently and effectively.
  • Supervise leasing activities, including property tours, tenant screening, and lease negotiations, with a focus on upselling available units and maximizing occupancy.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 guidelines, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) requirements, and other federal/state housing laws.
  • Manage property maintenance and facilities management by coordinating repairs, inspections, and vendor relationships through systems like Yardi or OneSite.
  • Handle legal administrative tasks such as reviewing contracts, managing legal notices, and maintaining accurate records in accordance with landlord-tenant law.
  • Conduct conflict management and resolution to address tenant concerns promptly while maintaining positive relationships.
  • Utilize data entry skills for accurate record keeping of leasing activity, rent payments, maintenance requests, and compliance documentation.
  • Lead staff training on office procedures, phone etiquette, customer service excellence, and conflict resolution strategies to foster a professional team environment.
  • Implement property marketing strategies to attract new tenants through effective sales techniques and relationship management.

Financial Ovesight

  • Prepare, manage, and monitor annual property budgets.
  • Analyze financial reports including profit and loss statements, variance reports, and occupancy trends.
  • Drive revenue growth through rent optimization and expense control initiatives.
  • Approve invoices, contracts, and capital expenditures within authority limits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management , or related field preferred.
  • 6+ years of property management experience , including multi-site managment.
  • Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a strong understanding of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations.
  • Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi or OneSite is essential.
  • Knowledge of LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing vouchers, and related federal housing programs.
  • Strong negotiation skills for lease agreements and vendor contracts; excellent conflict management abilities.
  • Office experience including data entry, filing systems, contracts administration, and customer relationship management tools.
  • Exceptional customer service skills paired with professional phone etiquette to foster positive tenant interactions.
  • Ability to manage multiple properties simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in all administrative tasks.
  • Facilities management knowledge including property maintenance coordination and vendor oversight is highly desirable.
